Anesthetic monitoring

After anesthetizing, we start the IV fluids and then use an IV pump to control the rate of administration. Our veterinarians and certified veterinary technicians also attach specialty veterinary monitors to your pet to continuously monitor heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygenation, temperature, respiration, and electrocardiography (ECG) the entire time he or she is under anesthesia.
