Dog and Cat Boarding
Northwest Neighborhood Veterinary Hospital offers a unique boarding experience – on a small scale fostering exceptional care. Unlike larger boarding facilities, we board a small number of animals at a time to provide plenty of individualized attention and affection. Our boarding coordinator, Mary Tustin personally cares for the animals, bathing them, brushing their hair, trimming their nails, and handling other duties as desired. Mary also considerately keeps in touch with owners throughout each animal’s stay.
Our veterinarians continually check on the animals to address any medical issues if necessary. We can even provide vaccinations and dental cleanings while they are boarding with us. In turn, your pet always returns home happy, healthy, and free of stress.
Cat Boarding
For cats, we offer multiple rooms. Each cat stays in the room that suits his or her temperament and if any, medical requirements. Most cats enjoy our cat room with large windows that open into our lobby – in a double suite with a separate litter-box room if space permits. When cats want to stretch their legs, we let one out at a time to independently saunter around the room.
Dog Boarding
For dogs, we offer multiple full-size runs, opening four to seven of them depending on the day of the week. Located in town, we are able to walk dogs on a leash at least three times a day, rather than relegating them to a fenced-in area like many facilities. This freedom promises your dog gets more exercise than they would with anyone else.
Testimonials
We have been so pleased with Northwest Neighborhood Veterinary Hospital in every way when they kennel our 8-year-old lab, Pepper. Mary Tustin and the entire staff give him a lot of attention, which makes him actually HAPPY to go to “camp.” We know he receives the best care there, plus we get phone calls updating us on how he is doing, so we do not worry about him at all when we travel. We also appreciate how accommodating Mary is, letting us drop off or pick up Pepper at times other kennels would be closed. –Tom and Jane Wing.
It is always a pleasure to board our middle-age Scotty, Kelsey, with Northwest Neighborhood Veterinary Hospital’s friendly and competent team. When leaving her under Mary Tustin’s supervision, we know she is safe and in the affectionate hands of folks who really care about her. In turn, we can enjoy our vacation, knowing that she is still enjoying walks throughout the neighborhood, fun ballgames, as much play as she wants, and lots of personal attention. Thanks for everything you do for our family, Northwest Neighborhood. –Tony and Sarah Johnson.
